Brad Garrett was only 23 years old when he made his first appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, making him one of the youngest comedians ever to perform on the program. As Garrett’s career took off he began headlining at national venues as well as opening for legends including Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli and Sammy Davis Jr.
Garrett is best known for his role as Robert Barone on the hit CBS series Everybody Loves Raymond for which he garnered 3 Emmy Awards. Garrett also played Jackie Gleason in the telefilm Gleason, for which he earned an Emmy nomination and a Screen Actors Guild nomination. He also starred on Broadway in Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple.
Several of Garrett’s feature credits include Music and Lyrics, Suicide Kings, The Pacifier and Sweet and Lowdown. He has lent his voice to a wide variety of animated blockbusters for Disney and Pixar. Garrett can also be seen in the upcoming film Burt Wonderstone, as well as Not Fade Away, written and directed by David Chase.
In 2012 Garrett opened his own comedy club at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Garrett is presently co-starring in the new ABC series How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life.
